If there’s one anime to watch before you die, its Nisemonogatari, the sequel to the oh so popular and mind fucking Bakemonogatari. This time the story centers around Araragi and his sisters. You see the other girls from the previous show but not as much. The art is as you would expect. We still have the random screen flickers with text. The characters also have long explanations for everything, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Its really rather short, only 11 episodes. Still, its a bloody damn good ride. My only comfort is that a prequel movie is in the works. I hope all the other “gatari” LN’s get animated. It really is a very enjoyable series.
